fokof jou fokken poes (Afrikaans)
So, Here's my first post about anything musical Die fokken Antwoord (The fucking answer) okay well not fokken in the middle but Die Antwoord is consisted as a group containing Ninja, Yolandi Visser and DJ Hi-Tek. Die Antwoord is associated with the south African hip-hop scene, Ninja the lead male vocolist has been In this scene for a while fronting acts such as The Original Evergreen, MaxNormal.TV and The Constructus Corporation.
The "Enter The Ninja" video also features the late Leon Botha, a prominent Cape Town artist who was one of the world's oldest and most well known survivors of progeria. It was probably their most popular song. At the end of 2010, Die Antwoord won the Myspace 'BEST MUSIC VIDEO OF 2010' award for their debut video, Enter The Ninja.
Wat de fok is zef? (What the fuck is zef?)
That's not bad spelling by the way its Afrikaans aha. A common term might pop when you listen to this fokken zef kak (Fucking zef shit) which would be zef.
The word zef stems from an Afrikaans word, which roughly translates to the English word "common". Jack Parow, in an interview, describes the movement as "It's kind of like posh, but the opposite of posh. It differs from the Australian term Bogan, and the British term Chav in that it is mostly a positive term used to describe oneself, rather than a derogatory term for someone else. It is also not typical of the poorest classes of the society, but rather a mostly white, lower-middle class subculture, albeit one that glorifies cheap stuff.
Yolandi Visser of Die Antwoord is quoted as saying, "It's associated with people who soup their cars up and rock gold and shit. Zef is, you're poor but you're fancy. You're poor but you're sexy, you've got style.
The word has also to do with around the 70's there was a gold rush then people started buying certain types of fords after the goldrush most of the cars were forgotten and some other boring shit.
I needed to tell someone or even my computer about this Zef kak.
